McEnearney Associates Best Places to WorkEach year the Washington Business Journal awards companies with the “Best Places to Work” title.  Employees of the nominated firms respond to a lengthy and entirely anonymous survey.  Based on the results of the survey, finalists are determined.

A total of 76 companies made the final cut – 25 in the “small” category; 25 in the “medium” and 26 in the “large company” category.  McEnearney Associates is classified in the "large" company category and are the only residential real estate company among all 76 finalists.

The winners will be announced on May 9th at the McLean Hilton. One of the area McEnearney offices took a break for some fun and had a water ballon fight....lots of fun!  Fingers and toes are crossed since we know McEnearney truly is THE

Don't miss the opportunity to celcbrate George Washington's 280th birthday. This is the nation's largest parade and follows a one-mile route through Old Town Alexandria. Parade starts at 1:00P.

The Armed Forces Community Convenant Ceremony will be from 11:30a - 12:30p at Market Square. This event honors the Nation's Veterans, Active Military, and their families. Entertainment, children's activities, military vehicles, and more will be also be at the event.

Bill Parsons, the Director of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation retired today. At a retirement celebration last week at the Officer's Club, Mr. Parons was joined by family, friends, co-workers, staff and the Commander in their own version of the "Academy Awards". Bill was not only honored for his nearly 20 years of service at Fort Belvoir, but also for his total of 31 years of service to the Army's Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation mission.

Of all the awards and mementos bestowed by dozens of guests and speakers, Mr. Parsons was presented the prestigious White Plume Award for his exemplary dedication and professional service; an accomplishment equaled by few.
